There are corners of the world that land in the “must-see” category, and the journey up the Sea to Sky highway from Vancouver, British Colombia, through Squamish and into Whistler, falls easily into that category. This painting was inspired by our family trip along that route.
This painting was painted on 1/8” hardboard panel that was sealed first to prevent discolouration over time. Two coats of acrylic gesso were then applied before the oil paint. Once dry, a Gamvar gloss varnish was applied to seal and protect the painting.
For your convenience, your new artwork will come framed and ready to hang in a beautiful handmade Hemlock floater frame with the wiring hardware attached. Just unwrap and enjoy!
I provide local pickup in Huntsville, Ontario. If this option is selected, I will be in touch via email to make arrangements. For all other destinations I will use Canada Post or USPS, if possible. Oversized artwork may need to be sent via carrier service.
