Enjoy the simple beauty of a loosely painted bouquet of flowers. Painted in soft blues and taupes this study feels loose and dreamy. The perfect addition to a bathroom or bedroom, or as a gift for a friend. I very rarely paint flowers, so this one is a special botanical treat.
This painting was painted on 100% cotton acid-free watercolour paper that was sealed first to prevent the oil paint soaking into the paper over time. Two coats of acrylic gesso were applied before the oil paint. Once dry, a Gamvar satin varnish was applied to seal and protect the painting. This painting was then framed behind non-reflective glass in a solid wood frame. For a cute finishing touch, I applied a textured paper to the back instead of the standard brown paper.
The hanging hardware is attached for your convenience. Just unwrap and enjoy!
I provide local pickup in Huntsville, Ontario. If this option is selected, I will be in touch via email to make arrangements. For all other destinations I will use Canada Post or USPS, if possible. Oversized artwork may need to be sent via carrier service.
