The shore of a lake is fascinating, often full of vast array of rocks. Each stone, tells a story of being pounded by waves or transported by ice to a new and slightly different home. The rocks of a lake aren’t like souvenirs one would take home and display but when gazed at closely, each holds a pattern in an array of tones that certainly are beautiful.
In this painting I tried to capture the beauty of an ordinary lakeside splash.
This piece was painted on 100% cotton watercolour paper using only professional-grade watercolour paint. The pigment in these paints are rich and lightfast, so they will withstand fading over time.
