The inspiration for this painting was from a real pond on a gorgeous golf course in Muskoka, Ontario, Canada. The first little glimpses of fall can be seen peeking through and reflecting off a mirror-like pond, so still not a ripple can be seen.
This piece was painted on 100% cotton Arches watercolour paper using premium watercolour paints, as well as a touch of professional-grade gouache paint. The pigments in these paints are rich and lightfast, so as to withstand fading over time.
